Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park was the first piece of land bought by the Page County Conservation Board in 1959. The property is approximately 22 acres including the 3 acre pond. It is located at 1849 HWY 2, Shenandoah, IA 51601

Camping

  • Sites 1-2 are primitive

  • Sites 3-12 are electric and water

  • Each campsite has a fire-ring and picnic table 

  • Electric campsites have 50/30/20 amp receptacles

  • Electric/water sites are $15 per night 

  • Primitive sites are $6 per night

  • Campsites are first-come first-serve

  • Restroom facilities with shower are located in the campground

Shelters

There are 2 shelters located at Pioneer Park that may be reserved for a $20 fee. There are restrooms available. Each shelter has picnic tables, a trash can, a cooking grill, water hydrant, and electricity. You can call the park office if you wish to reserve a shelter.
